A lot of flak has come Virat Kohli’s way after the loss of second Test in Perth. The criticism is on two accounts. Critics have said that Kohli made selection blunders in Perth and also behaved in a disrespectful manner. The banter with Tim Paine in the second innings of the Test match has not gone down well with many in India and abroad. Veteran Actor Naseeruddin Shah termed Virat Kohli the “world’s worst behaved player”. In a Facebook post, Shah said that Kohli’s “cricketing brilliance pales beside his arrogance.” On the other hand, former Australia pacer Mitchell Johnson is of the opinion that Kohli was disrespectful to Paine after the end of the Test match. He wrote, “Virat Kohli could not do that with Tim Paine, shaking the Australian captain’s hand but barely making eye contact with him. To me, that is disrespectful.” Sunil Gavaskar even  pointed out that there were selection blunders in the second Test.
