Day 3 preview: India will look to maintain their dominance against West Indies when the two teams take field in Dominica for Day three of the first Test on Friday. Young debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal introduced himself to international cricket with a classy century, and he’s not done yet. At stumps on the second day, Jaiswal was unbeaten on 143 with Virat Kohli (36*) at the other end. Earlier on Thursday, skipper Rohit Sharma too roared back to form with a fine century before being dismissed by debutant Alick Athanaze, who grabbed his maiden Test wicket in the process. Shubman Gill, who has been moved to the No 3 slot, was dismissed shortly after for 6 after nicking the ball to Athanaze at gully off Jomel Warrican’s bowling. India currently lead by 162 runs with eight wickets in hand and will hope to stretch their lead well beyond Windies’ reach on the ‘Moving Day’.
