The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for India’s upcoming tour of West Indies, slated to begin on 12 July. India will play two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is in the Caribbean. The highlight from the schedule is the second Test at Queen’s Park Oval which will mark the 100th red-ball affair between India and West Indies. “We are delighted to be able to confirm the schedule and venues for the highly anticipated visit by India. One of the highlights will be the 100th Test at the Queen’s Park Oval and this promises to be a fantastic occasion as we celebrate this historic event between these two proud cricketing nations,” said West Indies CEO Johnny Grave. BCCI announced the schedule on Twitter.

Windsor Park in Dominica will play host to the first Test from 12 July. Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad will host the second Test from 20 July. Both Tests will be part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle. The three ODIs will act as preparation for the ODI World Cup slated to be held in India later this year. The West Indies will have to qualify for that in the first place. They are due to play the World Cup Qualifiers after having failed to finish in the top eight of the ICC ODI rankings. The T20Is will be held in Trinidad, Guyana and Florida. Grave added: “We also look forward to hosting India in the white ball fixtures and welcoming fans to attend the matches across the region, as well as in the United States.
