IND vs ZIM Highlights, 2nd T20 at Harare: India levelled the series 1-1 with a 100-run win over Zimbabwe after Abhishek Sharma slammed his maiden T20I ton.

IND vs ZIM 2nd T20 preview: With the majority of senior players rested after winning the T20 World Cup, the Indian cricket team got off to a horror start in the five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe after losing the first match by 13 runs. Team India, which is captained by Shubman Gill and coached by VVS Laxman, was handed a 116-run target by an inexperienced Zimbabwe side, but after the Men in Blue were bowled out for just 102.

This was India’s first T20I defeat in 2024 and the visitors will be looking to quickly bounce with the second match taking place in less than 24 hours time on Sunday.

“We bowled pretty well but let ourselves down in the field. We were not up to standard and everyone looked a bit rusty. We spoke about taking time and enjoying our batting but it didn’t go like that,” Gill said after the defeat. “Halfway through we had lost five wickets. It would have been best if I stayed there till the end. Very disappointed with the way I got out.”

The second T20 will also be played at Harare just like the first game and will start at 4.30 PM IST.
