V Chandu into the attack now. Wolvaardt cuts through cover to find a boundary in the second ball of the over. Wolvaardt finds the boundary yet again in the final ball of the over. Time for a timeout.

Sophie Ecclestone into the attack. Shafali seems to be in good touch, hitting consecutuve fours. In the fifth ball of the fifth over, Shafali gets a leading edge onto Dottin at backward point, but Dottin drops this one and Shafali is safe.

Meghna Singh into the attack now. Shafali Verma with consecutive fours in the over. Yastika Bhatia with a a boundary at the start of the boundary.

After 1 over, Velocity 6/0 (Shafali 4, Chantham 1) 

Time for Velocity’s chase. Shafali Verma and Natthakan Chantham from Thailand open the batting. England’s Sophie Ecclestone the bowler for Supernovas. Shafali charges down the pitch to collect a boundary off the second ball of the chase.

Quite a respectable total for Supernovas given the position they were in at one stage. They post 150/5 thanks to Harmanpreet’s 71. Velocity need 151 runs to win from 20 overs.

Kate Cross finishes her spell with eight runs in her final over. Sune Luus with a lofted shot over mid-off for a fpur. Meanwhile, Harmanpreet has scored a fine half-century, but Supernovas will need to post a good total from here.

Taniya Bhatia falls victim of a run-out. She is desperate for a single and starts running but Kaur is not interested in it and Bhatia turns back to safety. It’s too late as Yastika had completed the throw and Khaka had broken the stumps.

Maya Sonawane continues. Harmanpreet collects a boundary towards deep square leg, Supernovas’ first boundary in more than three overs. Harmanpreet then seals the over with a six towards long-on.

Just five runs come off Maya Sonawane’s first over. It has been more than three overs since the last Supernovas’ boundary. The 50-run stand between Harmanpreet and Taniya comes up.

Khaka into the attack Yastika Bhatia collects a boundary, launching a pull towards long-on. She follows it up with another boundary, piercing through the gap between midwicket and mid-on.

Another one bites the dust as Deepti Sharma gets the wicket of Deandra Dottin. Three early wickets mean Harmanpreet Kaur comes in at number five. Deepti’s over is followed by Cross’s penultimate over. Six off Cross’s over.

Time for LIVE action. England’s Kate Cross to open Velocity’s bowling. Priya Punia and Deandra to open the Supernovas batting. Punia is  off the mark with a four off the first ball, cutting past the fielder at point. But guess what? Cross gets the big wicket of Priya. Punia goes for the drive, but ends up chipping to the fielder at cover. Harleen Deol is the new batter.
