  • Shabnim Ismail adjudged Player of the Match for a magnificent bowling performance that restricted India to a subpar score. She got her career-best 5/30.

  • South Africa Women 134/5 after 19 overs 

    Four, six and out. Some high octane action from Tryon. Marizanne Kapp comes in at the fall of that wicket. South Africa are within touching distance of a win. A scrappy single and South Africa win. They win by 5 wickets to keep the 5-match series alive. South Africa have now beaten India for the first time in T20Is.

  • OUT! Patil to Tryon. Tryon jumps out again, but misses the line completely and is stumped.

  • Patil to Tryon. The batter jumps out of her crease at sends it sailing into the stands at wide long on.

    Pandey comes in to bowl. An edge off the first ball. Brilliant chase by Poonam Yadav, pulls the ball back just before it would have crossed the fence. Saves one run. Tryon takes a massive stride forward and places the ball well to the backward point boundary. Tryon is playing a top class innings. But the Indians are hanging in there. Ten runs off that over. SA need 13 runs off 12 balls. 

  • Tryon comes doen, turns the delivery from Pandey into a half volley and collects four.

    Vastrakar comes into the attack. A quick single. South Africa inch closer. Two runs from that over and the wicket of Luus. Nadine de Klerk is the new batter in. SA need 23 runs off 18 balls.

  • OUT! Sune Luus departs, caught by Pandey off Vastrakar. Was trying to go over long on. Got a leading edge, did Luus. But a good cameo from her.

  • South Africa Women 109/3 after 16 overs 

    Tryon comes down the pitch gets a four straight down long off. What a shot. SA need 25 runs off 24 balls. The game is theirs to lose now. 

  • Tryon gets another boundary. Could have been caught in the deep, but just short.  

  • Tryon smashes one over mid-wicket and that is 100 for the South Africans.

    Chloe Tryon comes in to join Luus. Gayakwad bowling the 15th over. Luus gives the charge again but is beaten in flight. Meanwhile 'Ganati Bappa Morya' chants ring around the stadium. Luus gets a boundary off the last ball.

  • Luus sweeps hard and gos aerial. Boundary for Luus.

    Yadav continues. Luus gets a boundary going. This stand is looking dangerous now. Du Preez caught in the deep off the last ball. Big wicket that.

  • OUT! Du Preez gone. Straight and high and well judged in the deep by Veda. Makes amends for her earlier dropped catch.

  • Luus walks way across her off-stump and pulls it with might past backward square leg.

    Gayakwad comes back. Du Preez comes down the track and hits straight. It is high but doesn't get the distance. Chance for Veda in the deep. But dropped. What a miss! Four runs from that over. SA need 58 runs to winnfrom 42 balls. Easy, you would feel.

    Yadav continues. Giving the ball generous flight. Four runs off the first four balls. Du Preez advances down the track off the fifth ball, but can't find the gap. Nearly a mix-up between the South Africans, But Luus safely back at the crease in the end. Four runs from that over.

  • South Africa Women 68/2 after 11 overs 

    Pandey back into the attack. Taken for runs by Luus. Two fours in the last two balls. 13 runs from that over.

  • Luus turns one past fine leg. Consecutive boundaries for the South African.

  • Luus goes over the top of extra cover. Hit with authority.

  • South Africa Women 55/2 after 10 overs 

    Yadav continues. Three runs off the first three balls. The fourth ball has du Preez sweeping but there is no connection. An attacking shot off the next ball. The ball goes one bounce to long on. The last ball is a googly and the batter doesn't pick it. Could have easily chopped it on to her stumps. Four runs off that over. South Africa shouldn't be unduly worried at the halfway stage.

    Patil continues. Luus collects a boundary. Then du Preez hits one forcefully to deep mid-wicket. Smriti Mandhana pulls out an incredible stop at the fence. She jumps up to catch the ball, but seeing that the momentum would carry her over the ropes, flicks the ball back into play. Saves a certain six. Eight runs from that over.

  • Luus swats away a delivery from Patil to the square leg fence. 

  • South Africa Women 43/2 after 8 overs 

    Poonam Yadav into the attack now. Another spinner. Had a fine World Cup, one might remember. She is giving it a real tweak. Du Preez comes down the track to smother the spin. Only three runs from that over.  

  • South Africa Women 40/2 after 7 overs 

    Anuja Patil comes in with her right-arm off-break. Five runs from the over. The SA women rotate the strike well in that over.

  • South Africa Women 35/2 after 6 overs 

    Gayakwad intio the attack. Van Niekerk hits Gayakwad for a boundary off the third ball, but Gayakwad comes back to have the batter stumped. Mignon du Preez comes in. Six runs from that over. 

  • OUT! Gayakwad beats Van Niekerke with flight and spin. Stumped! South Africa 34/2

  • Rajeshwari Gayakwad to van Niekerk, and the South African captain collects another boundary. Over long-off now.

  • South Africa Women 29/1 after 5 overs 

    Vastrakar continues. Van Niekerk going after her. Walks down the pitch and hits her to the straight fence twice in two balls, which impels the 'keeper to come up to the stumps. Van Niekerk gets another boundary though. She is playing a captain's innings!   

  • Van Niekerk makes room and punches one past backward point for the third four of that over.

  • And again! Van Niekerk comes down the track to collect a straight four. This was hit with great power.

    Rajeshwari Gayakwad comes in with her left-arm orthodox spin. Van Niekerk tries a fac=ncy reverse sweep, but can't connect. That was not too far away from her off-stump. A good over from Gayakwad. Only three runs from that over.   

  • South Africa Women 13/1 after 3 overs 

    Van Niekerk hammers a boundary through extra cover. That was a superb shot. Vastrakar comes back well. Bowling a good line, with a bit of movement away. Gets the wicket of Lee as she hits her straight to Patil at long off. Sune Luus comes in. The batters had changed ends though as the ball was in the air. A single off the last ball for Van Niekerk.

  • OUT! Lee spoons one in the air off Vastrakar. An easy catch for Patil at long off. SA 12/1

  • Van Niekerk walks down the track converting Vastrakar's delivery into a half volley and smashes it to the extra cover fence.

    Shikha Pandey shares the new ball. Pandey bringing the ball into the batters, cramping them for room. Good tight bowling from the Indians. Lee gets a boundary away. Seven runs from that over.

    Shabnim Ismail becomes the first player to take a five-for against India in Women's T20Is.

  • India Women 133 after 17.5 overs 

    Ismail into the attack now. Nice-looking off-drive from Vastrakar. A single. She had to hurry there as the throw came in. Ismail gets her fourth wicket in that over. Good, well-directed short ball catching Yadav off guard. This is Ismail's best figures in T20Is. Rajeshwari Gayakwad comes in. The fifth ball produces another wicket. Ismail gets a fifer for 30. India implode, losing their last five wickets for nine runs. 

    The target for South Africa is 134.   

  • OUT! Vastrakar caught off Ismail and that's the end of the Indian innings. India 133 allout.

Preview: Veteran all-rounder Rumeli Dhar made her comeback into the Indian women's cricket team after six years as she was on Saturday named as replacement for injured veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami for the remaining three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against South Africa away.

Jhulan had suffered an injury to her heel ahead of the first T20I. On Friday, India registered a nine-wicket win in the second match and now lead the T20I series 2-0.

Rumeli, 34, played her last match for India in the One-Day International (ODI)series against Australia in March 2012.

She has represented India in 78 ODIs, 15 T20Is and four Tests.
