As for the opening day itself, there is a 25 per cent chance of rain, with showers taking place mainly in the morning which could result in Australian captain Pat Cummins or Jasprit Bumrah, who is filling in for Rohit Sharma for the first time, opting to bowl.
The rest of the match, however, is expected to have little to no disturbance due to rain and should witness the full quota of 90 overs being bowled each day, depending on the over-rates of course.
