Mumbai Indians (MI) Players List IPL Auction 2026: MI had retained a majority of players from the squad that had reached Qualifier 2 of the playoffs earlier this year, the five-time champions making a stunning comeback after losing four of their first five matches of the season. While Mumbai parted ways with 10 players, including Afghan off-spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman, they did bolster their squad by trading in three players from other franchises, including Shardul Thakur from Lucknow Super Giants in exchange for Arjun Tendulkar.

After a disastrous run in 2024 in Hardik Pandya’s maiden season as captain, MI produced a much better performance earlier this year, only getting stopped in the penultimate match of the season by the Shreyas Iyer-led Punjab Kings. Pandya will be hoping to go a step further next summer and end his team’s quest for a sixth title.
