With the 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) set to get underway just five days from now with Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the season opener , broadcaster JioStar has announced a special package for viewers with up to three months of cricketing action available for free.
There is, however, a catch for viewers to avail the 90-day free JioHotstar subscription that will not only cover not only the entire 18th season of the IPL but also cricketing action in June, including the ICC World Test Championship Final.
How to avail the free 90-day JioHotstar subscription for IPL 2025?
In order to subscribe to this special offering from the Reliance Industries-owned JioStar, viewers have to buy a Jio sim, if they aren’t existing users already. Not only that, they will also have to recharge a minimum amount of Rs 299 (1.5GB/day or more) from 17 to 31 March in order to avail the offer.
The time period for the minimum recharge necessary for the offer is applicable for existing as well as new Jio users.
“…for cricket lovers, Jio has announced an exclusive offer for existing and new Jio SIM customers. With just a Jio SIM and a plan of Rs 299 or above, customers can experience the ultimate cricketing season like never before,” a release said.
Not only that, customers will also get a 50-day free JioFiber/AirFiber trial connection at home, the release added. As for customers who have recharged before 17 March, they can avail the offer with a Rs 100 add-on pack.
The JioHotstar pack will be activated from 22 March, the day KKR host RCB in the opening game of the tournament at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
