Full List of IPL 2025 Award Winners: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) finally ended their agonising 18-year wait for a maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) title as they defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six runs in the grand finale at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. RCB posted a solid 190/9 after having asked to bat first and constantly kept chipping away at PBKS’ batting as they fell short in the end, after Shreyas Iyer fell early on for just one run in a final.

Former RCB skipper Virat Kohli, who has only played for one franchise in IPL history, turned extremely emotional after the trophy win. Emotions overcame him as Bengaluru players orchestrated wild celebrations on the pitch with some of the franchise’s past greats like AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle.
RCB are expected to have another grand ceremony on Wednesday when they return to the city to celebrate the maiden title win with their home fans.

GT’s Sai Sudharsan won the Orange Cap in IPL 2025 with a sensational season in which he scored 759 runs to beat Mumbai Indians’ (MI) Suryakumar Yadav (717 runs), while his captain, Shubman Gill, came third (650 runs).

IPL 2025: Purple Cap list
The Purple Cap also went to GT as pacer Prasidh Krishna won the award for taking 25 wickets in IPL 2025, the highest for a bowler. Noor Ahmad of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Josh Hazlewood of RCB came second and third, respectively.
