South Africa’s tour to India will finally come to an end with both sides playing the fifth and final T20I at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, 18 December. Fans would be eager to see some cricketing action after the fourth match in Lucknow was abandoned without a toss due to excessive fog in the stadium.
India currently lead the series 2-1 and South Africa cannot win the series. However, if the Proteas manage to tie the series, they will head back home highly satisfied. The visitors won a historic Test series 2-0 before losing the ODI part 2-1. A 2-2 draw in the T20Is against the reigning world champions would be a solid result for the Proteas.
