All eyes will be on 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi after he scored a sensational 32-ball hundred against the UAE in India A’s first game.  

India A came into the tournament as favourites, with a strong squad including top performers from the Indian Premier League (IPL). They showed their strength in the opener against UAE, scoring a massive 297/4. Suryavanshi scored 144 off just 42 balls, while captain Jitesh Sharma added 83 not out.

Gurjapneet Singh then starred with three wickets to restrict UAE to 149/7 and win by a massive 148 runs. Pakistan A also had a strong start, beating Oman by 40 runs in their opening match. They posted 220/4 in 20 overs and then restricted the opposition to 180/9.

Fans can expect another thrilling match on Sunday as India A aim to continue their winning run and Suryavanshi looks to repeat his heroics against Pakistan A.
