After winning the first match by 101 runs and suffering a 51-run loss in the second T20, Team India roared back with a seven-wicket victory in the previous game at Dharamsala, taking a 2-1 lead. Winning the five-match T20 series against South Africa with a game to spare would allow the Men In Blue to do some experiments in the final match at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
