The schedule for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 will be announced on Tuesday (25 November), the official broadcasters Star Sports have announced. The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 will be announced at 6.30 PM IST.

As per a major report, the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 will take place from 7 February to 8 March. India will start their campaign against the USA on 7 February in Mumbai, while the marquee clash between India and Pakistan will take place on 15 February in Colombo.

ICC T20 World Cup 2026 format

The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 would involve 20 Teams divided into four groups of five teams each. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Eight, where teams will be divided into two groups of four. The top two teams from these groups will qualify for the semi-finals.

India will have Pakistan, the USA, the Netherlands and Namibia in their group. India’s match against Namibia will be in Delhi on 12 February, while they will take on the Netherlands in Ahmedabad on 18 February.

The T20 World Cup is being co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will play all their matches in Sri Lanka in Colombo and Kandy. The final will also take place in Colombo if Pakistan qualify for the summit clash; otherwise, the final will take place in Ahmedabad.

If India reach the semi-final, their match will take place in Mumbai, while another semi-final will be held at Kolkata. If Pakistan or Sri Lanka reach a semi-final, then the Kolkata match will be shifted to Colombo.
