CSK vs DC LIVE Score: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will look to rediscover their form at home when they take on upbeat Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Saturday, 5 April. The CSK vs DC match will take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai where the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side started their IPL 2025 campaign with a victory over Mumbai Indians but have lost against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals since then.
Talking about CSK captaincy, there are rumours that MS Dhoni could captain Chennai today as Gaikwad is suffering from an elbow injury. He suffered the elbow injury against RR. “Yeah, we’re hoping he [Gaikwad] is going to try and have a bat today for training. And, yeah, it [elbow] is still a little bit sore, but it’s improving every day. So, we’re very hopeful that he’ll be fine for tomorrow,” CSK batting coach Michael Hussey said on the eve of CSK vs DC match.
Dhoni’s return to captaincy is probably what CSK needs right now whose batting has emerged as the weakest point. However, Dhoni has time and again shown that he can inspire any side to a victory and this could be the much-needed impetus CSK need currently.
DC, on the other hand, are doing quite well currently, having won both their matches so far. Their victories have come against Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Delhi have Axar Patel as their new full-time captain and he will hope to keep up the winning momentum.
