India vs Australia, 5th T20I Live Score & Updates: India and Australia are set to face each other in the fifth and final match of their five-game T20I series on Saturday, November 8. The match will take place at The Gabba in Brisbane and will begin at 1:45 PM IST. With India currently leading the series 2-1, Australia can only manage a draw if they win the final match.
India, on the other hand, will aim for yet another series victory Down Under and look to build on their strong performances in the last two games. After the first match of the series was washed out, Australia won the second T20I to take a 1-0 lead. However, India bounced back strongly to win the third and fourth matches, turning the contest in their favour.
The focus will once again be on captain Suryakumar Yadav and his deputy Shubman Gill, who have been unable to perform well in this series. Both these batters have shown glimpses of what they can do, but have failed to convert the starts. Despite their poor show at the top, India have managed to win two out of three completed matches thanks to some middle-order resistance and bowlers’ performance.
Abhishek Sharma will also look to find his form back after a stellar Asia Cup 2025 and some vital contributions in the ongoing series.
