If the year 2024 had to be described in short, it could be called the year of elections. More than 60 countries, with a population of more than four billion people, will go to the polls this year, making this year’s democracy’s biggest test till date. Elections will be held in the United States, India, Indonesia, Russia, Pakistan, and South Africa to name just a few. The European Union will also go to the polls.
