In Bihar, politics is on top of everyone’s mind. The state is just a day away from the big electoral battle. Polling will take place in two phases, with the first one being held across 18 districts tomorrow (November 6). The second phase will take place on November 11, while the results will be announced just three days later, on November 14.
There’s a massive field of 2,616 candidates running for the Assembly election. The state has as many as 7.43 crore total voters, with 3.5 crore women voters and 14.01 lakh first-time voters.
A staggering 8.5 lakh election officials have been deployed across the state to ensure a smooth election process. Meanwhile, over 4 lakh security personnel are responsible for security.
