Tech billionaire Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, is visiting India for five days.
He landed in Delhi on Sunday and is expected to leave for South Africa on Friday.
While in India, Errol plans to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
He will also take part in several meetings related to business.

What is Elon Musk’s father doing in India?
A video shared by PTI showed Errol Musk receiving a warm welcome upon arriving in India.
On Monday, the South African businessman is expected to meet with policymakers, investors, business leaders, and senior officials.

“Musk will also visit Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Ram Mandir to seek blessings from Shree Ram Lalla, reflecting his engagement with India’s cultural and spiritual heritage," PTI reported.
According to sources familiar with the visit, the news agency said Errol Musk’s schedule includes events focused on supporting India’s goals in green technology and EV charging infrastructure exports.

As part of his visit, he will tour Servotech’s solar and EV charger manufacturing facility in Haryana’s Safiabad and take part in a tree plantation drive.
“Musk will also visit Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Ram Mandir to seek blessings from Shree Ram Lalla, reflecting his engagement with India’s cultural and spiritual heritage,” they added.
Several state ministers and top officials are expected to attend the events. Servotech has organised a plantation drive on June 5, celebrated as World Environment Day, as part of Musk’s visit to promote efforts around sustainability and the environment, The Times of India reported.
Errol Musk was appointed to Servotech’s Global Advisory Board on May 5. The company said he will offer strategic guidance on infrastructure, technology, and renewable energy.
Once his visit to India is over, Musk will head to South Africa.

In a podcast appearance earlier this year, Errol Musk openly criticised his son, Elon Musk.
When asked whether he believed Elon was a good father, Errol replied no, claiming he relied too heavily on nannies.
He also said Elon did not spend enough time with his children.

Elon, on the other hand, has spoken about having an unhappy childhood and said he did not grow up with financial privilege.
However, Errol disputed this, saying Elon went to school in a Rolls-Royce and the children were raised in comfort.
Errol Musk’s scandalous past
Elon is the son of Errol Musk and Maye Musk, and they had two other children together.
Their marriage ended in 1979 after Errol cheated on Maye, a supermodel. The couple had been together for nine years.
Maye said Errol was both emotionally and physically abusive during their marriage.
Errol, who has seven children, later married Heide Bezuidenhout in the early 1990s and had two daughters, Alexandra and Asha Rose. The couple separated after two years.
Years later, Errol entered a relationship with Jana Bezuidenhout, his former stepdaughter and Heide’s daughter, and the two had two children together.
Speaking to The Sunday Times in 2018, Errol said of the relationship, “One thing led to another — you can call it God’s plan or nature’s plan.”
Elon, who has since reconnected with his father, once told Rolling Stone that Errol was “a terrible human being” with “a carefully thought-out plan of evil.”
Recently, Errol claimed that China is attempting to recruit his seven-year-old son, Elliot Rush, also known as ‘Rush,’ to compete in a gaming tournament.
“They say he will be the biggest thing in China. They say he’s a prolific gamer and he’s a champion," Errol told Daily Mail.
Despite ongoing tensions between China and the US, Errol did not express concern about his son potentially being involved in the alleged recruitment.
