Arvind Kejriwal

The former Delhi chief minister and AAP chief has lost from the constituency of New Delhi. His main rival, BJP’s Parvesh Verma, has won the polls with a margin of 4,089 votes. With this win, Verma has emerged as the biggest winner in the Delhi polls, earning him the tag of ‘giant slayer’.

Atishi

The incumbent chief minister Atishi has retained her Kalkaji Assembly seat, defeating BJP rival Ramesh Bidhuri by over 3,500 votes. Her win in the seat comes as a saving grace for the AAP, which has been defeated by the BJP.

News18

Earlier in the day, Bidhuri, a former MP and MLA, was leading ahead of Atishi. During the campaign, he had stoked several controversies, including calling Atishi a deer.

Manish Sisodia

Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia conceded defeat from the Jangpura constituency. He lost to BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah by 675 votes.

News18

The former Delhi Deputy CM was relocated from Patparganj to Jangpura in a bid to battle anti-incumbency. However, the results show that it didn’t work.

Kapil Mishra

The BJP’s firebrand leader Kapil Mishra has won from the Karwal Nagar constituency. Up against Manoj Tyagi of the AAP and PK Mishra of the Congress, Mishra secured his win by a margin of 23,355 votes.

News18

Prior to this, Kapil Mishra emerged victorious in the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections on an AAP ticket. He defeated BJP’s Mohan Singh Bisht (57,434 votes) and Congress candidate Satan Pal Dayma (5,362 votes).

Sandeep Dikshit

Son of former Delhi CM, Sheila Dikshit, Sandeep has lost. He contesting from the New Delhi constituency, same as Kejriwal and BJP’s Parvesh Verma.

Satyendra Jain

Former Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain has been defeated from the Shakur Basti assembly seat against BJP’s Karnail Singh. BJP’s Karnail Singh’s victory margin is of over 20,000 votes. This comes as a shock for Jain, who has dominated this seat for the last three assembly elections.

News18

Saurabh Bharadwaj

Saurabh Bharadwaj, the Delhi minister from the AAP, has lost from the Greater Kailash seat. This comes as a huge shock for Bharadwaj, who has won from here in the past three elections.

News18

Bharadwaj was stumped by Bharatiya Janata Party’s Shikha Rai, who secured 49, 594 in comparison to the AAP leader’s 46,406 votes.

Gopal Rai

The election gods have smiled down on Delhi minister Gopal Rai. He has won from the Babarpur constituency.

News18

This will be his third consecutive term from the seat; he won with a massive margin of 33,062 votes over BJP candidate Naresh Gaur in the 2020 elections.

Avadh Ojha

Avadh Ojha, the popular civil services exam tutor who recently joined the AAP, didn’t find favour with the voters in the Patparganj constituency. Ojha replaced senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia as the party’s pick to contest this seat.

Patparganj was widely expected to be a ‘safe seat’ for Ojha. However, trends don’t support this — the BJP’s Ravinder Singh Negi won by over 23,000 votes.

Somnath Bharti

The AAP leader has lost from the Malviya Nagar constituency. Bharti lost to BJP’s Satish Upadhyay by 2,000 votes.

News18

In the 2020 polls, Bharti won by defeating Shailender Singh of the BJP by a margin of 18,144 votes.
