Zubeen Garg's bandmate slams late singer's manager and musician amid his death probe: 'You brought a seizure patient to swim in the sea and...'

Singer Zubeen Garg’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves across the country. While the investigation into his death is underway, the singer’s band member and the key witness, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, has shared shocking details about Zubeen’s death and accused manager Siddharth Sharma and event organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta of poisoning the singer.

But there seems to be a new twist to the story as the late singer’s fellow bandmate Partha Pratim Goswami has made some shocking revelations against Garg’s manager and Shekhar Jyoti.

What Partha Pratim Goswami said

Partha was quoted saying, “The greatest negligence and carelessness were on the part of Siddharth (Zubeen Garg’s manager Siddharth Sharma) and Shekhar (bandmate Shekhar Jyoti Goswami).”

Goswami added, “You two, who stay close to Zubeen like shadows, brought someone who hadn’t slept and had been drinking and partying all night to swim in the sea, fully aware that Zubeen is a seizure patient. How could you do that?”

Parha continued slamming the two for their negligence and said, “You didn’t let him sleep and insisted on taking him to the sea just because you wanted to have fun. I will never forgive them for this reckless mistake for as long as I live.”

How much was Zubeen Garg paid for his performances?

The late singer’s bandmate told the media, “I have never seen any formal agreement or contract for Zubeen da’s performances in all these years.”

He recalled an incident during a show in Dibrugarh, where the musicians confronted Siddharth Sharma at a hotel. “We asked him, ‘Are you the boss now?’ Siddharth said, ‘No, no, dada, Tarsame da is a bit busy these days, so he asked me to handle things temporarily,’” Goswami recounted.

Amid the investigation that continues to get murkier, The All Assam Lawyers’ Association has issued a statement that reads- “The death under mysterious circumstances has given rise to suspicion, mystery and a sense of conspiracy. Multiple FIRs have been lodged with the police in different parts of the State. Allowing their conscience to defend the accused will be a historical mistake for the legal fraternity."
