Zubeen Garg Death Update: No traces of poison found on singer's body in second autopsy report

There’s a major update on singer Zubeen Garg’s death who passed away last month due to drowning in Singapore. His manager and the festival organizer were taken into custody weeks later.

However, the official post-mortem report of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has confirmed that Zubeen Garg’s death was “not caused by poisoning.” A source was quoted saying, “The external injuries, according to sources, have not contributed to the cause of death.”

GMCH’s report has made it clear that no evidence of toxins or poison was found in any of the viscera exhibits that were sent to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory, New Delhi, for forensic examination.

And now, fans have launched ‘Justice for Zubeen Garg’ campaign as the case continues to get murkier and the campaign has found support from the late singer’s wife Garima Garg. She was quoted saying, “I have a request for all of you so that he (Zubeen) gets justice.”

All of you should write on social media with the hashtag #JusticeForZubeenGarg every day… We have been waiting patiently for 22 days to know what happened (in Singapore). We don’t know what happened till now, but we should get justice."

She added, “All of us have a platform (social media). Besides praying, all of you should write #JusticeForZubeenGarg every day, demand justice every day, request for justice every day, pray for justice every day.”

Zubeen Garg : More than just a singer

Ask his fans and admirers that the late singer was a philanthropist, messiah who became God for the state of Assam. During the second wave of the pandemic back in 2021,     Zubeen Garg  and his wife, offered the state government to convert a two-storey building into a Covid-care faculty. This was in Guwhati and the building could accommodate as 30 patients.
