After having exhibited a splendid performance throughout their campaign in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, Team India unfortunately got defeated in the final match. The World Cup 2023 came to an end with Australia defeating India by six wickets and lifting the trophy for the sixth time. At a time when the Indian players were left teary-eyed after the final loss and fans also heartbroken, Bollywood celebrities have come forward to boost the morale of the Men in Blue. While an array of celebrities were present at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday to witness the match, many also took to social media to express their reactions.

From Shah Rukh Khan to Ranveer Singh, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Suniel Shetty, Ayushmann Khurrana and many other celebs were among the first ones to react to the loss and laud the words of the entire Indian team.

King Khan while taking to his X handle penned a heartfelt note for the Indian cricket team and praised the players for making everyone proud with their performance in the tournament. “The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately, it happened today….but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket…u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect. You make us one proud Nation,” he wrote.

Abhishek Bachchan also took to the X platform and lauded the team’s commendable performance in the tournament. “A tough loss after a valiant effort. Commendable performance by the men in blue throughout. Hold your heads high and thank you for the journey,” he wrote.
