Women of Music India (WoMI), the not-for-profit initiative founded by leading media advisor and entreprenuer, Priyanka Khimani, announces the second edition of PWR Pose, which will take place in Mumbai later this month.

PWR Pose is WoMI’s flagship identity and confidence-building experience for female professionals, including artists and music business executives, who power the music ecosystem. The initiative centres visibility, self-expression, and belonging, by offering professional headshots, personalised styling support, and an uplifting community experience

Following a highly successful debut edition in 2024, PWR Pose 2.0 expands its mission by including young talent, both boys and girls, from underserved and diverse socio-economic backgrounds, offering access to professional photography, exposure to industry environments, and a space to build confidence and creative aspiration.

This year’s edition will bring together emerging artists, executives, creators, and young future leaders in music and culture, along with allies and industry supporters. Participants will experience curated photography, glam teams, mentoring touchpoints, and community-led storytelling, with a focus on showcasing talent across creative and executive roles in music, entertainment, and cultural production.

Come for the shoot. Stay for the sisterhood. A movement rooted in access and representation

PWR Pose sits within WoMI’s wider mission to build pathways, visibility, mentorship, and long-term opportunities for talent of Indian origin across the global music industry. Through education, industry immersion, community building, and strategic partnerships, WoMI works to strengthen representation across creative, business, and leadership roles in music and adjacent creative fields.

NGO partners across Mumbai, such as The Dharavi Dream Project and The Sound Space, will partner with WoMI to participate in this year’s edition, ensuring meaningful access and widening the pipeline for emerging talent. Commenting on the initiative, Priyanka Khimani, Founder, WoMI, said , “This year, PWR Pose is opening its doors wider. We are partnering with other non-profit organisations to welcome young talent from marginalised and under-represented communities, many of whom have never had access to spaces like this. Our goal is simple: to make confidence, visibility, and opportunity accessible to talent who deserve to be seen, heard, and supported as they step into creative careers. ”
