Why B Praak cancelled his appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast after India's Got Latent controversy?

B Praak was among the first to react to the Ranveer Allahbadia controversy at Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent. Sharing a video a week back, he said, “I was supposed to appear on a podcast, on Beer Biceps, and we cancelled that. Why? Since we are all seeing how pathetic his thinking is. The choice of words that he has used on Samay Raina’s show…”

“Ye humara Indian culture nahi hai. Ye humara culture hi nahi hai. Ap apne parents ke kaun si story bata rahe ho? Ap unki kaun si baatein kar rahe ho? Ye comedy hain? This is not at all comedy. Logo ko gaaliyan dena, logon ko gaaliyan sikhana, ye kaun si generation… mereko samajh hi nahi aa raha (This is not our Indian culture. What story are you telling about your parents? What are you even talking about them? Is this comedy? You are abusing people, teaching them how to abuse… I fail to understand this generation),” he added.

Post that there were speculations that he was not invited to Ranveer ’s podcast. And when asked about it, as per HT, he replied, “I liked watching his podcasts and I really wanted to go on his show. Our teams had been discussing the dates for six-seven months. Sometimes, he would be busy and travelling, and sometimes I would be."

Saying that he is not happy with what Ranveer said, B Praak added, “Galat tha, lekin mujhe lagta hai agar koi dil se pachhtaakar maanfi maang raha ho. the society ought to forgive him.”

“Kuchh baatein galat hoti hain, par hum bol jaate hain. But nobody should get hurt because of it. If you forgive someone, you become the bigger person,” he shared.
