Elvish Yadav, the controversial YouTuber and social media personality, who garnered popularity after emerging as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT season 2, landed in trouble for brutally attacking another YouTuber Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern during a late-night meeting in Haryana’s Gurugram.
After Sagar’s complaint, a complaint was registered against Yadav under sections 147 (riots), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code at Sector 53 Police Station.
Inspector Rajender Singh, SHO Sector 53 police station said Elvish Yadav had called Thakur to Southpoint Mall on Golf Course Road to have a conversation. “It was at a shop owned by Yadav’s acquaintance… the moment he came in, he started beating Thakur up,” he said.
Fresh Trouble For Elvish
The popular YouTuber has now landed in another soup, this time for giving death threats to the welfare officer of the People’s For Animal (PFA) in Ghaziabad, as per a report by FilmiBeat. The report added the officer in question, Sourabh Gupta, has complained in the Nandgram area.
Who is Elvish Yadav?
The YouTuber became a household name after emerging as the winner of Salman Khan’s controversial reality show _Bigg Boss OTT season 2_ . He also enjoys a fanbase of over 16 million followers on Instagram.
In 2023, an FIR was registered against Elvish for his alleged connection with a running organised group that sells snake venom at rave parties in the NCR.
However, he claimed that he is innocent and said in a 58-second video on X, “… All allegations made against me are completely baseless… (and) fake… I am ready to cooperate with UP Police… I request police, administration, and UP CM Yogi Adityanath that if they find even 0.1% of my involvement in this, I’m ready to accept all charges…”

After his Bigg Boss win, there were controversies that politicians and influential personalities back him. However, he cleared it and said, “Be it politicians, celebs or social media influencers, I want to thank them for supporting me. However, honestly, I did not seek any backing or did not keep a team to promote me like this.”
