When Ranbir Kapoor was accused of cheating on Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor broke up on Jab We Met sets

It’s the occasion of Valentine’s Day so it’s all about love today. However, love comes with its own sets of hardships and heartbreaks, break-ups topping them all. The two dated for a year after which the couple parted ways after the Pathaan actress accused the Animal star of cheating on her. It was reported Kapoor’s closeness to Katrina Kaif back in 2010 was the reason why Padukone called it quits. Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor

The two fell in love and did three films when they were together. But during the shooting of Jab We Met, they broke up and ironically gave their most iconic film together. Nobody knows why the Pavitra Rishta pair parted ways. But in an interview, the actress said, “I kept hoping that things would be okay some date. It was on the 31st of January… There were so many photos of us in my house. I decided and told my mother to remove all of them. I said this is how it is supposed to be. You have to make space for someone else to come into your life.” She also shared that she told her mother to remove the photos as she couldn’t do it. “I just went inside my room. My mother removed the photos and tore them up. I cried that day and that was the end of everything. I waited and did everything. It was after six months that Vicky came into my life, she added. The two were seeing each other during the making of Love Aaj Kal but soon broke up due to reasons best known to them. Commenting on the same, Sara had said, “ I don’t want to say that ya, it’s all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it’s friends, professionally, romantically, espically if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn’t really matter, whatever it’s today, whatever it’s tomorrow’. It’s not like that. It does affect you.
