A video is going viral on social media where a lady comedian could be seen mocking Deepika Padukone’s depression. It all happened on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent, comprising comedian Samay Raina, actor and producer Raghu Ram, comedian Tanmay Bhat, neurologist Dr Sid Warrier, and Balraj Singh Ghai, owner of Habitat.

A woman named Bunty Banerjee cracked a joke on Padukone and said, “Deepika Padukone also became a mother recently, right? Great. Now she knows what depression really looks like.” And users slammed her left, right, and centre as video went viral.

One wrote- “Never in any of her interviews did Deepika say she developed it post her breakup with Ratbir .She was at her career high and suffered it years after the relationship.”

A second one said, “Depression is often causeless and a community d!ck like Wigbir is not worthy of giving someone Depression.”

A third fan had this to say- “This is such a pick me woman. Depression is real it happens with everyone once in their lifetime. Many people got inspired to talk & visit a doctor due to Deepika’s campaign on depression. These male actors fans are the worst creatures always shaming female superstar.”

Deepika Padukone continues to write and rewrite history at the box-office. In 2023, she had two consecutive 1000 crore blockbusters- Jawan and Pathaan. And this year, she’s all set to have another massive money spinner with Kalki 2898 AD. The speed at which this magnum opus is going at the ticket windows, it should enter the 1000 crore club soon.

The actress looked mesmerizing in the image, showcasing her compelling on-screen presence. Sindhu praised Deepika’s performance with a heartfelt message, expressing her awe with a simple “Just wow. @deepikapadukone”
