Watch: Priyanka Chopra stars in ad for Assam tourism which depicts state's geographical beauty

Priyanka Chopra is making waves on social media, but this time, it is not because of her films or Instagram pictures. The Quantico actress recently starred in an ad for Assam’s tourism, but she plays a supporting role, as the state’s culture takes centre stage. The visuals of the landscape, Bihu dancers, artifacts and people are quite breathtaking.

Priyanka Chopra was declared the brand ambassador for the state of Assam in 2016. However, this marks the first time that she will be part of a promotional video for the state. However reports suggest that this is not the official video, which will instead be released on 1 November as a part of the Awesome Assam tourism campaign.

Chopra recently released her third single ‘ Young and Free ’ in collaboration with Will Sparks. She is shooting for her third Hollywood film Isn’t It Romantic , where she stars with Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth and Adam Devine. It will see her play the role of a yoga instreuctor called Isabella. This film is slated to release on 14 February 2019.

Another of her upcoming projects is A Kid Like Jake directed by Silas Howard. In this Hollywood project, she stars with Jim Parsons and Octavia Spencer in an adaptation of a famous Lincoln Center play of the same name, which centers on the parents of a four-year-old boy named Jake, and their concern about him.
