Netflix recently released a spoof video of Narcos: Mexico
titled Every Goa Plan Ever. The video expectantly draws inspiration from the popular series. Narcos: Mexico
was initially supposed to continue the original franchise to a fourth season but was later developed as a companion series focusing on the illegal drug trade in Mexico. The original series depicted drug trade in Colombia. [caption id=“attachment_5642361” align=“alignnone” width=“825”] Still from the Narcos: Mexico spoof. YouTube screengrab[/caption] The spoof video, developed as a promotional, revolves around the premise of a group of friends trying desperately to plan a trip to Goa. As one of them is the mastermind of planning, each friend is called in for specific reasons: one for the farm-house, the other for a car and so on. The friends also have their own share of quirks. With pregnant silences and sombre expressions, the spoof perfectly captures the ambiance created by Narcos but only in a completely trivial scenario of planning a road trip to Goa. Narcos: Mexico premiered on Netflix on 16 November, 2018. The show features Michael Peña, Diego Luna, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Alyssa Diaz, Joaquín Cosío, José María Yazpik among others.
