n the ongoing investigation of Assamese singer’s Zubeen Garg’s death, it has now been discovered by the SIT that financial transactions worth Rs 1 crore passed through bank accounts belonging to his bodyguard Nandeshwar Borah and an associate named Baishya over the past four to five years.

A report says, “Assam Police have arrested two personal security officers (PSOs) of late singer Zubeen Garg after uncovering financial transactions totalling over Rs 1.1 crore from their accounts.”

And now, in his statement, music composer and singer Vishal Dadlani spoke about the late singer and said, “Hum sab gadhe hain ki humne us baat ko pehle nahin pehchana. You always feel that someone who’s such a big talent will be around forever, and then they are no longer with us. We only did one song together but used to talk every now and then on the phone when he used to come to Bombay. We had a lot of commonality. I will definitely sing for him in Itanagar."

That’s not all, fans have launched ‘Justice for Zubeen Garg’ campaign as the case continues to get murkier and the campaign has found support from the late singer’s wife Garima Garg. She was quoted saying, “I have a request for all of you so that he (Zubeen) gets justice.”

All of you should write on social media with the hashtag #JusticeForZubeenGarg every day… We have been waiting patiently for 22 days to know what happened (in Singapore). We don’t know what happened till now, but we should get justice.”

She added, “All of us have a platform (social media). Besides praying, all of you should write #JusticeForZubeenGarg every day, demand justice every day, request for justice every day, pray for justice every day.”
