When Indian cinema was thriving on ugly machoism , Vikrant Massey did an honest performance of a hardworking village boy and stole our hearts.

It’s a true story of an underdog, IPS officer Manoj Sharma which gives hope to millions of viewers. A boy coming from an extremely humble background, who studied in a village and makes it to becoming an IPS officer. His struggles are lessons that many of us coming from a comparatively privileged can learn from.  True to its purpose, 12th Fail shows how from being a dog walker, a toilet cleaner to sleeping on the streets, Manoj Kumar Sharma, the real IPS officer has done it all to achieve his dream.
