Vijay Sethupathi on his film 'Super Deluxe' not making to the Oscars despite being shortlisted: 'Something happened...'

But what happened that it didn’t make it to the final cut? While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, the actor revealed, “We know that something happened. It’s not because I was in that film. Even if I am not in that film, I want that film should go there. Something happened in between and I don’t want to talk about that. It’s unnecessary.” He hinted at ‘politics’. What’s novel about the film is how it is told in a repetitive story format that reveals a little more with each narration.
