In the afternoon, performances moved to Fateh Sagar Paal, where Kavyaraag Collective performed a combination of poetry and music, taking inspiration from Meera, Kabir, Faiz, and Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Los Calchakis from Argentina introduced Andean folk sounds, while The Western Ghats blended indie-folk with pop, rock, and electronic music.

As night fell, Gandhi Ground came alive with high-energy performances. The Sarangi Orchestra brought the deep, resonant sounds of Rajasthan’s folk traditions. Faridkot got the crowd moving with their Punjabi folk-rock, and KAIA, an all-girls group from Philippines, performed a mix of originals and popular hits. The music affair ended on a high with Shaan, whose Bollywood set had the audience singing along.

Mr. Sanjeev Bhargava, Founder-Director of SEHER, said, “Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2025 is special because it brings so many different musical traditions to one stage. Every year, people return, calling it their annual detox, a chance to step away from routine and immerse themselves in music and culture. Their love for this festival keeps us going, and we will continue to bring artists from around the world to make each edition just as meaningful.”

GRAMMY-winning artist Dobet Gnahoré from Côte d’Ivoire captivated the audience with her Afro-pop melodies. Carnatic and Persian classical performances added depth, alongside fusion acts like Karsh Kale & Peter Tegner (India-Sweden) and Romano Drom from Hungary. Euphoria’s rock anthems and Kutle Khan’s Rajasthani folk music kept the energy high.
As the celebration came to an end, it once again proved to be a space where music transcends borders, bringing people together through sound, rhythm, and shared experiences. With artists from across the globe, the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival reaffirmed Udaipur’s place as a vibrant hub for world music.
