Triptii Dimri, who became an overnight sensation with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal last year, enjoyed 3 releases this year in the form of Bad Newz, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video & Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

With her solid screen presence and good performances, the diva has now emerged as the most popular Indian star of 2024, according to IMDb. The Qala star has beaten several biggies to grab the numero uno position.

While the second and third spot is grabbed by Deepika Padukone and Ishaan Khatter, the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan settled at the 4th position. Newly married actress Sobhita Dhulipala is at the sixth spot followed by _Munjya_ star Sharvari, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu & Alia Bhatt. Baahubali and Kalki 2898 AD actor Prabhas is at the 10th spot on the list.

While Triptii has biggies like Dhadak 2 and Animal Park in the pipeline, the actress recently opened up about facing criticism for intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor and how it deeply affected her.

Talking about online cruel remarks, she said in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, “Roti thi because dimaag kharab hogaya tha ke kya likh rahe hain log (I would cry because I got mad thinking what people were writing).”

The actress shared that her sister helped her process the criticism and said to take ownership of her journey. “Sometimes, crying is the body’s way of telling you to release your trauma,” added Triptii.

Revealing she faced criticism for the first time after Animal, Triptii added, “There was no criticism before Animal, but I suppose that’s the side effect of being in a mainstream film.”
