This 58-year old actor dated Kangana Ranaut, was accused of rape, son went to jail for abetment of suicide

Aditya Pancholi is known for his films like Aatish, Gambler, Yes Boss, Hamesha, Jung, Bodyguard, Hero, and Dum Maaro Dum. However, his personal life has been full of controversies. He was reportedly in a relationship with Kangana Ranaut, who’s over 22 years younger than him.

In a statement back in the day, while talking about the _Queen_ actress, Pancholi said, “We were as good as husband and wife. I was actually building a house for both of us on Yari Road. We lived together for three years at a friends` place. I used to show her a lot of movies.”

Back in 2016, the actor sentenced to a one-year imprisonment for assaulting his neighbour in Mumbai. Magistrate Amitabh Panchbhai of Andheri court sentenced the actor to jail for one year and slapped a fine of Rs 20,000. The incident as reported took place in 2005. Also, an actress had once accused the Hamesha star raped her on multiple occasions and used to harass her sexually and mentally.

His son Sooraj Pancholi was also arrested on charges of abetting the suicide of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan, who was his girlfriend, who passed away in 2013. He was later acquitted of charges. Now, in an interview, Sooraj Pancholi talked about his relationship with his father and how his reputation impacted public opinion.

Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, the actor said that his father has indeed done wrong things in life and ended up being tagged as a ‘bad boy’.  Sooraj  went on to add that he doesn’t ‘agree with the way Aditya Pancholi has handled things in life’. However, he has forgiven his father as he understands that he needs him the most in life.
