In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Agnihotri was asked if he can get Alia and Kangana to do a film together. To this, he said, “I will die if I start thinking like this. Who thinks like this? And how can someone think like this? Alia Bhatt won the National Award, she is an actor of India. She was honoured by the Government of India. Even I got a National Award that time. When Kangana won the National Award, I congratulated her too.” Speaking highly of Alia, Vivek Agnihotri recalled the time he met her during an award ceremony. “I love the way she came and met me,” he said. The director further noted that he has nothing to do with personal lives of others. He added, “I bring two people together? What do I have to do with their lives? I don’t have any such hobbies.
