Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, known for co-directing Farzi, The Family Man & Citadel: Honey Bunny, among others, have grabbed headlines after the actress shared a video from Dubai holding the hand of a mystery man.
While none of them have denied or confirmed the relationship, their joint pictures have been adding fuel to their dating rumours. Amid this, Raj’s ex-wife Shhyamali De has dropped a string of cryptic messages through her Instagram stories.
“It’s like deja vu all over again," shared De on her Instagram stories. Her previous note read, “Respond intelligently even to unintelligent treatment." In another post, she shared Ali Ibn Abi Talib quote, which read, “Detachment is not that you should own nothing, but that nothing should own you."
Samantha has worked with the Raj & DK duo together in The Family Man 2 and Citadel: Honey Bunny. She has collaborated with them for the third time for Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom'
The show also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jaideep Ahlawat. The upcoming fantasy period drama series Rakht Brahmand, produced by visionary filmmakers Raj & DK and directed by Rahi Anil Barve, the mastermind behind Tumbbad.
In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, Samantha had expressed her gratitude towards the duo for giving her a challenging role in Citadel and said, “Thanks to Raj & DK for offering me an action role because that was a shift that I didn’t see coming at all. I was always playing this girl next door cute (se) roles. I never thought that I can land a punch. It is a welcome change and it gives me more to explore. I think every time I work on a project there is a new facet that I discover and that I can tap into. Raj & DK are hard task masters who will push you to deliver your best. And every actor wants the right push from the right people. They know what they are doing and I completely trust them.”
