Nana Patekar stood accused of sexually harassing Tanushree Dutta on the sets of Horn ‘OK’ Pleassss, a 2008 movie. Dutta had filed a police complaint against Patekar and her lawyer told the media that once a FIR was registered, two more women who had allegedly been harassed by the accused, would come forward.
Dutta was the actress who began the Metoo movement in the industry in 2018 and many more traumatic stories came forward. In an interview with The LallanTop, when the ‘Welcome’ star denied the allegations, Dutta took to Instagram to write a long note on how Patekar was a ‘pathological’ liar.
The actress wrote- “How big a liar Nana Patekar is the whole world knows now after the Varanasi boy slapping incident. Nana first tried to made it look like to slap the kid was part of shoot & then he got severe public backlash for trying to cover up his abuse. Then he suddenly took a u turn & apologised half heartedly. "
