Rajinikanth’s stardom knows no bounds. Despite the popularity that the actor enjoys among the masses, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that humble is Rajinikanth’s middle name. In what came as a pleasant surprise for his fans, the actor was recently spotted sitting on an economy-class flight the video of which immediately went viral on social media.
The video of Rajinikanth boarding an economy-class flight featured him sitting on a window seat. The actor looked stylish in a simple blue shirt and beige pants as he interacted with people on the flight. The video of the actor, shared by one of his fans, was accompanied by a text that read, ‘The closest I’ve been to God’.
Sharing the video on his X handle, the fan wrote, “Gosh. What a video! I’m blessed to witness the power in those eyes from such close proximity, although it’s through the lens of a phone cam. Thalaivaaa. @rajinikanth I’ll always seek your blessings. Love you to the moon and back my man.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajinikanth has been occupied shooting for his upcoming film, Vettaiyan. The film is directed by TJ Gnanavel, who is popular for Jai Bhim. Vettaiyan, as per the reports, is nearing completion. Speculations are rife that the actor will be playing a Muslim police officer in the upcoming film which will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan in prominent roles. Additionally, the music of the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander who is garnering applause for his work in Jailer, Jawan and Leo among others.
The actor, besides Vettaiyan, is also expected to be a part of Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming project. The filmmaker, recently, shared a picture with the legendary superstar and expressed, “It’s a true honour to collaborate with the legendary Rajinikanth, Sir! Anticipation mounts as we prepare to embark on this unforgettable journey together.”
Rajinikanth’s last appearance was in Lal Salaam. The film, directed by the Jailer actor’s daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, was released on February 9.
