Superman is a historic and iconic superhero etched in our memories. From the pages of the comic books to celluloid, the journey has been fascinating. DC has time and again made us relive the thrill of this superhero who wears a cape and flies as if stars were his ambitions. And now, we have a new Superman movie coming out on July 11.

The actor who dons the cape this time is David Corenswet. The trailer of the film is unveiled and this could be a huge blockbuster across the globe given the hype. It’s a superhero that has always connected the past and the future, and constantly winked at the present. DC should be able to score a blockbuster with this superhero drama.

I’m so glad Superman is doing stupid stuff with his powers again. That lazer spinning was badass but had a slight golden age element to it. I dig it.
