‘Sunflower’ Season 2 is now streaming on ZEE5. Created by showrunner Vikas Bahl and directed by Navin Gujral the show features Sunil Grover in the lead role alongside Adah Sharma, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ranvir Shorey, Mukul Chaddha and Girish Kulkarni in other prominent roles.
Grover , who returns after his misadventures in season one, spoke about the entrance of Adah in season two and said, “So, of course, there’s a lot of entertainment that we expect from Season 2 and all the answers that we’re looking for in Season 1. By the end of it, we will get in Season 2 and there are more twists and turns and it’s more colorful. I’m hoping that people will get their answers what they wanted to know by the end of Season 1, what they had queries, questions.”
Talking about the roles he wants to say yes to at this stage of his career, Grover was quoted saying, “First and foremost, for me is the story, and the second is the director.”
When asked about the evolution of comedies and thrillers, the actor stated, “So comedy, the intention of comedy has been the same for years to make people laugh. Of course, there are new people bringing their element. And comedy is one art where you need your element, your own element. Otherwise, it doesn’t work. So you have to believe, you have to find things funny. And with time, with people, and of course, there are so many mediums. People have also explored different genres.”
