Stree 2 is on the road to becoming a blockbuster but do you know who played the role of Sarkata in this horror-comedy? His name is Sunil Kumar, is 7 feet and 6 inches tall and is called The Great Khali of Jammu.
Director Amar Kaushik spoke about him with Bollywood Hungama and said, “The casting team found him. We wanted a man with such a height and he fit the bill.” According to reports, he’s constable in Jammu and Kashmir Police and he also indulges in wrestling.
Amar Kaushik further said, “We used his body shots while the face of Sarkata was generated through CGI.”
Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao’s horror comedy Stree 2 is smashing one record after another. As per Sacnilk, it has collected Rs 55 crore (early estimates) on Sunday, taking the total to Rs 190 crore at the box-office. It has already beaten Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s ‘Fighter’ in just six days.
The film will also beat the Hindi collections of Prabhas’ ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and become the biggest blockbuster of 2024.
While Shraddha Kapoor enjoys a humongous fanbase and her latest movie Stree 2 has taken a phenomenal start at the box office, the actress had a rough start as her first two films Teen Patti and Luv Ka The End bombed at the ticket windows.
Aashiqui 2 became a game-changer for her, making her a sensation in the country.
I had to give a lot of auditions because at that time nobody wanted to work with me. Especially because I was coming after two flops. Then I don’t know what Mohit Suri thought and he believed in me for Aashiqui 2.”, Shraddha recalled while having a conversation with Sushant Sinha.
However, what grabbed netizen attention was Rajkummar Rao’s reaction during Shraddha ’s narration. Interestingly, the actor has previously sat through interviews where star kids like Janhvi Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor spoke about their struggles in showbiz.
