Sridevi's death anniversary: Khushi Kapoor pays tribute by sharing a heartwarming throwback pic with Janhvi Kapoor

Actress Khushi Kapoor, who recently made her Bollywood debut with Netflix’s The Archies, paid a heartfelt tribute to her mother and legendary actress Sridevi on her 6th death anniversary (24th February) by sharing a beautiful throwback pic featuring her along with sister Janhvi Kapor and the Lamhe star.

In the eighth season of Koffee With Karan, Khushi Kapoor spoke about her mom’s demise and said, “I think it took me a while when it happened to kind of accept it. I think it did suddenly hit me after a while. But I was a bit confused, I don’t know. But I had Jahnvi and I had dad. So, they were just kind of there to help.” She said that it took her some time to properly process her mom’s death. Khushi added that she felt that she needed to be “strong” for the family. “I think I felt that I had to hold it together for everyone because I feel I’ve always been the strong one,” said Khushi Kapoor.

Apart from Hindi, she also starred in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films. She shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, Thalapathy Vijay and others.

Talking about Khushi Kapoor’s The Archies, the Netflix movie was directed by Zoya Akhtar of Gully Boy, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do fame. It also featured Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Aditi Dot, Yuvraj Menda and others in prominent roles.
