Akshay Kumar, who is basking in the glory of his latest hit OMG 2, has shared an adorable note for his daughter Nitara, who turned 11 on 25 September. The 56-year-old took to Instagram to share the heartfelt wish for his ‘soon to be young lady’. In the video that has gained traction online, the father-daughter duo can be seen enjoying time together in what looks like an ocean. While Akshay Kumar can be seen in his casual wear, daughter Nitara sported a swimming costume.
The actor’s post revolved around how he could never understand why daughters grow up so fast. Talking about his little baby who used his hand to take baby steps, the actor described Nitara’s journey as a young lady, with the whole world to conquer. Expressing pride at his 11-year-old’s creative mind, the actor added that while other kids want to visit Disneyland, ‘you want to create one’.
In the end, the Welcome 3 actor suggested their daughter to ‘spread wings’. Calling her sunshine, he confided that both ‘I and your mother will always try to be the wind beneath them. Happy Birthday my princess!’
