Sonakshi Sinha is happily married to Zaheer Iqbal now as the couple got hitched on June 23 in Mumbai. Her interview about father Shatrughan Sinha, his relationship with Reena Roy, and the striking resemblance she bears with her has gone viral. Talking to Masala, Sinha was quoted saying, “I think it happened when I was not even born. I found out when I was growing up and started understanding things. But I’m not going to crucify my father for something he did years back." “I look like my mother Poonam Sinha,” quipped the Dabangg star on that controversial question.
Speaking to Firstpost , when Roy was posed the same question, the veteran actress said, “Wahin na, yeh zindagi ke ittefaq hote hain (these are the quirks of destiny). Jeetuji’s mother and my mother look like twins sisters.”
Sinha, who tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on 23rd June at her Bandra residence, has been subjected to trolling for inter-faith marriage. In fact, the couple has disabled the comment section to avoid unnecessary hatred and negativity.
Now, the Dahaad actress has reacted to trolls in a subtle by resharing Prasad Bhat’s post of her and Zaheer, which talks about being ’love is the universal language’. Resharing that post on her Instagram Stories, Sonakshi worte, “Truest words!! This is adorable! Thank you.”
Meanwhile, Sonakshi’s dad and actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha also slammed trolls and urged them to not spread the negativity. “Anand Bakshi saab has written about such professional protestors, ‘Kucch to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. To this I would like to add, ‘Kehne waale agar bekar, bekaam-kaaj ke ho to kehna hi kaam ban jata hai (For unemployed people, this is all the work they have).’ My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional,” said the Aan actor to Times Now.
