After Kajol, Madhoo Shah, Anurag Basu, and Konkona Sen Sharma, it’s time for Soha Ali Khan to back Deepika Padukone for her 8-hour shift demand post the Spirit fiasco.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 99 actress was quoted saying, “I lost my entire identity in motherhood. I lost my friends, I temporarily lost my husband. I forgot everything. I chose to have Inaaya late as well, when I was 38. Because I understood it’s going to happen.”
She added, “I tend to do one thing very passionately. So for the first three years, it was all about her—to the extent that I had to find balance again. But that’s my personality. So I understood that work and friendship would take a back seat.”
Soha on her anxiety
But still, by 7 p.m. I start getting anxious because it’s my bedtime ritual with her. So even when I was on set, I burst into tears once because we were in Rajasthan, shooting, and I hadn’t seen her all day
Khan also said, “I totally understand where Deepika is coming from. At 7, if you don’t pack up with me, I’ll run off. I’m sure some people will be like, ‘Don’t hire her (Soha) because she could be tough—she’s going to want to run home after 7.’”
What Sandeep Reddy Vanga tweeted against Deepika Padukone
Vanga exploded by saying, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are….Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story?”
The filmmaker who made Kabir Singh and Animal added, “I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it.
Aisa karo…. Agli baar poori kahani bolna… kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha.”
