Rana Daggubati’s digital venture, Viu India’s web series Social might have released its season finale recently, but actress Priya Banerjee is still nostalgic about her experience with the young and talented cast which includes Naveen Kasturia, Abdul Razzaq and Moin Khan.

“My experience with all of them was fantastic! Naveen, Moin, Razzaq and I bonded so well off screen that our chemistry was amazing on screen as friends. They are all such talented actors that I got to learn so much from them too. Each of us had our own way of doing a scene and we complimented one another”, said the talented actress who was last seen in Jazbaa on the big screen.

While Priya too shares the sentiments of the show’s producer Rana Daggubati that digital is the way forward, and that a debut on a show with a script like Social gave her the unique platform to bring together experimental content that deals with the contemporary facets of social media, she is currently enjoying the positive response for her role on the show.

“I have been getting great response so far for whatever I have worked on and I’m glad people have liked my characters and related to them. As an actor, it always feels great when the audience like you work and wants to see more, “ said Banerjee, who plays the role of Myra, an aspiring actress in Social.

Even though she has a slew of projects lined up for release in 2018 across different genres, she still reminisces about her time on set with the crew of Social. “We always had our inside jokes and we used to always pull each other’s legs. Especially Moin is super fun and he mimics really well. So he would always mimic the other people on set for us when we were chilling in our vans and we would have a great laugh,” said Banerjee.
