Singham 3: Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty's film likely to be remake of Malayalam film Action Hero Biju
Rohit Shetty's Singham 3, starring Ajay Devgn in the role of a Marathi cop, is likely to go on floors in 2018 and likely to release at the end of 2019.
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s Singham is still one of the hugely successful cop movies of Bollywood. We have already seen two films from the Singham franchise, namely Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014), which have been sleeper hits at the box office.
Even trade analyst Ramesh Bala recently tweeted that Singham 3 could be a remake of the Malayalam hit film. The shooting is expected to be wrapped up in mid-January and it will most likely release in 2019.

Last month, there were rumours that producer Jayantilal Gada has roped in Sunny Deol for Singham 3 but Shetty put the rumours away, saying, “We would like to inform once again and reiterate that all titles, copyrights and trademarks relating to the Bollywood Singham franchise belong solely to Reliance Entertainment in its whole. News of any other production house or film entity reporting to make Singham 3 or any feature film on Singham is inaccurate and baseless".
Right now, both Ajay and Rohit are enjoying the box office success of Golmaal Again that released on Diwali. The film has already touched Rs 150 crore at the box office within nine days. Golmaal Again also features Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu and Tabu in key roles.
