A user commented, “Drake pushing the fan is the right thing. We have had “fans” come up on stage with knives and even guns, jumping on stage like that is some jack ass shit to do.”

https://twitter.com/Murdockpop/status/1701656422772269279 Just when a security guard took hold of the fan, Drake stated “Y’all not doing security out here?” While scolding the guards further, the rapper continued, “Boy, you slow as f**k.” The rapper recently posted a photo on Instagram of the massive ‘bra collection’ he has amassed from fans while on his ‘It’s All a Blur Tour’.

Stalker approaches Drew Barrymore

In a similar incident in late August, American actress and film producer Drew Barrymore was approached by an alleged stalker who tried to interrupt her interview with Renee Rapp. Looking at the security concerns, Drew had to be escorted away from the stage at the earliest.

The man, who identified himself as Chad Michael Busto, according to Variety, called out Drew saying, “You know who I am. I need to see you while you’re in New York.”

However, the duo returned to the stage shortly after.

String of attacks on singers

Not just this, several such events involving a string of attacks on singers during concerts had also been reported in the past. During one such incident against Cardi B, when a fan tried to act smart with her during a concert, she got her revenge right away.

As snippets from the concert went viral, it showed a person in the audience throwing a drink at Cardi, which splashed her in the face. In anger, Cardi threw her microphone at the person which hit directly in the face.

In yet another incident, singer Harry Styles was struck with a bouquet of roses at a concert in Cardiff, Wales.

About the concert

Drake’s ‘It’s All a Blur Tour’ is a collaborative event with Atlanta-based rapper 21 Savage, to promote their collaborative album Her Loss (2022). The tour, which began on 5 July in Chicago, will conclude in Columbus on 9 October.

Reports suggest it is Drake’s first tour of North America in five years, consisting of 56 dates across the United States and Canada.

Work Front

On work front, Drake has finally announced a release date for his highly anticipated eighth studio album ‘For All the Dogs’, which drops on 22 September.
